Despite really not liking him first time around I decided to re-purchase the Alternators version of Wheeljack to have another look - thanks to getting a UK release via Argos, and then being much reduced, he's fairly easy to find cheap and in good condition over here; I think mine was about a tenner.While Grimlock has grown on me as a clumsy but surprisingly fitting figure, absence really hasn't made me grow much fonder of Wheeljack, who remains a bad fit for the mould. Other characters - such as the mooted Windcharger Mustang - would have worked better, and other moulds - most notably the Corvette - would have made a better Wheeljack, but Hasbro and Takara seem to have been on a run of really stupid decisions for the line at the time, so this is what we're stuck with. Oh, and I know the legs are mis-transformed, thanks.
