Finally got around to uploading my scans of Fantastic Series #2, the Spider's first foray into the Super Library format (hey, it's not like IPC are going to bother reprinting it...).Despite definitive Spider scribe Jerry Siegel on scripting duties, it's not actually much cop - he seems a bit out of his depth with the weird format (118 pages, incidentally - the other 14, rather desperately, count both sides of the front & back covers, a couple of quizzes and adverts) and the narrative is very meandering.
Still, worth a read. I should be getting a scanner again in a week or so, and all being well a few more of the Spider's adventures have a date with the plate.
